[June
11-13 2004]
When the Formula 1 rolls into town, the
days leading up to the actual race give off
a circus-like atmosphere, except that Jaguars
and Ferraris replace the lions and tigers.
The Grand Prix of Canada is one of Montreals
most eagerly anticipated events of the summer,
and after having come so close to losing their
spot on Formula 1s calendar, Grand Prix
Festival organizers BBF teamed up with
Team SCP to put together three days on Crescent
street that wouldnt soon be forgotten.
From June 10 to 13, people from all over the
world jammed the streets of Montreal to soak
up what could be their last chance at a piece
of the Canadian Grand Prix. For the first time
in the history of the Grand Prix Festival, the
top half of Crescent Street was dedicated to
modified Hondas and Acuras, and
SportCompact.Ca was there to cover it.
