[SCN] BFGoodrich Sport Compact Nights rolled into Winnipeg driven by the success of Montreal, Halifax and Calgary...

BFGoodrich Sport Compact Nights rolled into Winnipeg driven by the success of Montreal, Halifax and Calgary; and surrounded by the loudest buzz not heard on tour since the Maritimes. With the people of Winnipeg recovering from a major heatwave, Team SCP and BFGoodrich cranked the temperature right back up with the hottest car show the ‘Peg has ever seen.

Like the Sunday night traffic jam that is Portage Avenue, a continuous flow of spectators flooded the aisles of the Convention Centre from open to close. Winnipeg enthusiasts showed that they could more than hold their own with the rest of Canada’s tuners combining a perfect blend of West Coast bling and East Coast creativity.

Low Life Customs brought all kindss of flavour, from chromed-out Escalades to a Honda Civic on cylinders. Despite a trailor-related incident, the Toyport AutoFX Lambo-hinged, chromed-out turbo Integra still managed to walk away with the Vibrant Performance Top Tuner Award. Allan Chan and the rest of the Zucru claim they spent 48 hours without sleep, preparing their drift-inspired booth setup. The self-induced insomnia paid off as Zucru walked away with the Best Display trophy. Holding court in the BFGoodrich booth were “DaTwins” with their canary-yellow Toyota Celica GTS. Look for the car in a future issue of Performance Auto & Sound magazine. Last but not least, Vancouver.
